ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has asked the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf to postpone its protest being held in Islamabad on October 4 as foreign dignitaries are present in the federal capital.
Naqvi said that the situation for Islamabad’s administration is very sensitive at this time as the prime minister of Malaysia is currently present in the capital and a Saudi high delegation is also coming shortly and following these visits, there would be SCO Summit in Islamabad. The minister said that the PTI is a political party and its plan to protest in the federal capital is not good for the country, adding that however, the government has finalized its all arrangements.Naqvi warned that there would be no leniency with anyone, who would try to disturb the peaceful environment in the capital, adding that it is mandatory to take NOC for a public rally.
