Iranian authorities apprehended 10,454 Pakistanis who entered Iran illegally via different border routes from January 1, 2024 to December 15, 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Federal Investigation Agency officials said that Iranian authorities arrested these illegal Pakistanis from Taftan area and handed over them to Pakistani officials.
Apart from Pakistanis large number of Afghan nationals also entered Iran illegally to depart for European countries for better future and life.Current year 2024 witnessed highest number of arrested people as compared with the previous year’s number.
