Punjab police Sunday thwarted a sudden and intense attack of armed militants targeted the Chapri police station in the Isa Khel area of Mianwali, near the inter-provincial border with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 224newsHD TV channel.

Despite the severity of the attack, all personnel stationed at Chapri Police Station remained unharmed. The police successfully foiled the attack, killing two terrorists in the process.
