“We are introducing solar systems for 4.5 million consumers who utilize up to 500 units of electricity,” stated Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “With the recent surge in electricity costs, there has been growing anxiety among the public. Together with my team, we have devised a solution.” In addition to this pivotal decision, the cabinet addressed several other significant matters. They approved a standardized version of the Holy Quran and entrusted the University of Health Sciences with conducting the MD CAT 2024 examination. Furthermore, new procedures were established for appointing divisional directors of education and college principals, and the cabinet discontinued the two-year Pharmacy Assistant Course.
To safeguard environmental interests, amendments were made to the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Ordinance 2002, prohibiting the use of substandard oil.
