According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department , monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are entering the upper and central regions of Pakistan, while a westerly wave is influencing the upper areas of the country.
Under these weather conditions, more torrential rains are anticipated in various areas, including Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Kasur, Okara, Pakpattan, Vehari, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Khanpur, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Kot Addu on Friday evening/night and over the...
Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 41°C. In Lahore, the highest temperature reached 40°C, while the relative humidity in the evening was measured at 78 percent.
