LAHORE: Punjab Environment Department has announced relaxation and allowed hotels, restaurants and food outlets open untill 10 PM.
As per detail, The official notification from the Punjab Environment Department states that dine-in, parking, and takeaway services can continue during these extended hours. However, there will be no time restrictions for home delivery services. The decision comes after improved air quality, driven by rainfall and a shift in wind direction, which have contributed to a reduction in smog levels. Initially imposed on November 15, the restrictions have now been eased as environmental conditions improve.
The Environment Department has instructed local authorities to ensure compliance with the new guidelines while continuing to monitor air quality across the province.
