Punjab govt purchases Rs4b worth of drugs for free treatment of cancer patients
In a big initiative, the Punjab government has purchased Rs4 billion worth of drugs for free treatment of cancer patients, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.During the era of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf , the provision of free drugs to cancer patients was stopped.
The current caretaker Punjab government has now completed the procurement of medicines for the cure of cancer.
