The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court has expressed reservations on the appointment of judges in the Supreme Court

The PHC CJ expressed observations regarding discrimination and favoritism in the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He expressed disappointment that, despite his seniority, availability, and eligibility, his name was not considered for a position at the Supreme Court. In his letter, Mohammad Ibrahim Khan stated that as a member of the Judicial Commission and the Supreme Judicial Commission, he anticipated inclusion in the list for elevation to the Supreme Court.
