The Pakistan International Airlines on Monday reduced the quarantine time for the pilot from seven days to 48 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
PIA's Chief Pilot Standard Inspection, Kaleem Chughtai issued the notification in this regard after pilots raised the concerns. As per the new policy, pilots would only be quarantined for 48 hours after arrival and that would increase the availability of pilots for special international flights. In case of positive COVID-19 case detected, cabin crew and cockpit members would be shifted to Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, Karachi, Sialkot and Multan CMH hospitals.
