ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the murder of Khalil Jibran, a senior journalist in Landi Kotal city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He reiterated the government’s resolve to take all-out measures to protect the lives and freedom of the media community. On the other hand, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur took notice of the incident and ordered authorities concerned to immediate arrest the culprits behind the journalist’s killing.The Association of Electronic Media Editors and News Directors strongly condemned the gruesome murder of the Khyber News’ reporter and demanded the KP chief minister and federal interior minister to bring Jibran’s killers to justice.
