The Prime Minister said everyone must remember to observe the SOPs in place for COVID-19
ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the nation to observe this Eid-ul-Fitr in a different manner from the usual celebratory style.
In a tweet, he said first let us think of and pray for all those families who have been deprived of their loved ones by the plane crash tragedy and all those who have lost their lives to COVID-19.He said the disease is with us and social distancing must be strictly observed throughout the Eid holidays, including during Eid prayers. May Allah bless our nation.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan in a video message has said that we need to celebrate this Eid-ul-Fitr with care. He said for the well-being of your loved ones, follow the SOPs provided by the government by avoiding crowded places, observing social distancing, exchanging Eid greetings from a distance and helping the underprivileged affected by COVID-19 lockdown.
