Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, the time is ripe to eliminate terrorism and Fitna Tul Khwarij from the country and devise concrete plan to counter misinformation and disinformation on social media platforms.
Chairing a meeting of National Action Plan's Apex Committee in Islamabad, the prime minister emphasized to augment the counter terrorism departments in the provinces and ensure modern training of police officials.
The Prime Minister noted that the security forces gave a befitting response to the recent agression from across the border. He said, the economic stability can only be achieved through ensuring law and order. He stated that the Anti-Pakistan material is being spread on social media platforms from abroad and we need to counter digital terrorism.
The premier said, Pakistan recently assumed charge as non-permanent member of un security council for next two years and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar played important role in achieving the status.Pakistan Television Corporation is the Pakistan state-owned Television broadcaster, founded on 26 November 1964. This National Broadcaster has flourished since then, and today has PTV-Centers in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, AJK and Multan.
