News DeskThe Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf started consultations on joining the Jamaat-e-Islami sit-in in Islamabad, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to sources, the party sought suggestions from central leaders and provincial committees on whether to join the sit-in or not. The JI urged people from various walks of life to join it as, according to its chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, the party would hold a historical sit-in on July 12 in Islamabad. He said the people have been forced to sell their precious belongings to pay the inflated bills.
