Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a new partnership with the Sunni Ittehad Council and Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM). Independent candidates supported by PTI in central, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions will align with the Sunni Ittehad Council. PTI candidates will formally submit their affiliation documents with the Sunni Ittehad Council to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ( PTI ) on Monday announced a new partnership with the Sunni Ittehad Council and Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen ( MWM ). The announcement was made by Barrister Gohar, accompanied by MWM leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Sunni Ittehad Council ’s chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Omar Ayub Khan. Barrister Gohar stated that independent candidates supported by PTI , particularly in central, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions, will align with the Sunni Ittehad Council .
He emphasized that this decision came after extensive discussions among PTI, SIC, and MWM. Barrister Gohar mentioned that PTI candidates would formally submit their affiliation documents with the Sunni Ittehad Council to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) today (Monday). Reiterating PTI’s claims of electoral irregularities, Barrister Gohar asserted that despite allegedly winning 170 to 180 seats in the National Assembly, the results were manipulated
