In a joint stakeout issued after PM Anwaar ul Haq Kakar's visit to Beijing, China has called for peacefully resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the U.N. Charter, relevant UN Security Council Resolutions and Bilateral Agreements.
Prime Minister Kakar visited china on the invitation of President Xi Jinping to attend the Third Belt And Road Forum for international cooperation.
In Beijing, Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang among other Chinese officials. The two countries reached consensus on strengthening the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership. They also recognized that the belt and road initiative is a strong driver of world economic growth and vowed to work closely on high-quality Belt And Road Cooperation.
The two sides agreed that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has yielded fruitful outcomes since its inception and has now entered a new stage of high-quality development.
