Pakistan's COVID-19 testing capacity highest in South Asia: FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, while addressing a special National Assembly session on Monday, said Pakistan holds highest testing capacity in South Asia for novel coronavirus.
“Only eight labs were functional in the country when the outbreak occurred and now 70 labs are functional and 283,517 coronavirus tests have been conducted till date. “Pakistan Peoples Party is in power in Sindh since and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz governed Punjab for ten years after the amendment. Our health system would have collapsed had the cases increased like other countries.
“National Coordination Committee and National Command & Operations Center – headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan and Minister for Planning Asad Umar respectively – were formed.
