Rana Sanaullah vows to revive Pakistan's hockey glory
ISLAMABAD - Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Thursday emphasized the government’s commitment to restoring Pakistan’s pride in national hockey .
Sanaullah, who also holds the portfolio of Inter Provincial Coordination , met with the players on the occasion and said hockey is our national game but unfortunately, over the past few years we have not been enjoying that pride which we had gained in the past. We are trying to regain our lost glory and bring the game back on track, he said.
He said Pakistan Sports Board has been asked to make a policy on how a player who can win a gold or silver medal at the international level can be felicitated with an award. Efforts are being made to develop players’ interest and urge for winning medals, he said.
