Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Senator Raza Rabbani reiterated on Wednesday the demand for holding timely elections in the country.
Expressing his thoughts in Islamabad, Rabbani said,’’ The ECP had already violated the constitution by not holding the elections within 90 days after the dissolution of the assemblies.’’
He urged the ECP to see the matter in line with the Reko Diq project, adding that it was a decisive economic decision that did not fall within the mandate provided by the Election Act.– Memon all for immediate elections – Expressing his thoughts in Karachi, Mr Memon reiterated: “There is a dire need to hold elections quickly to ensure transparency.”
