ISLAMABAD: Sub-Committee of Senate Standing Committee on National Health Services and Regulations chaired by Palwasha Khan expressed concern over charging inflated fees by private medical institutes due to criminal negligence of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council .
In the committee meeting, PMDC and Health Ministry officials admitted that the students were charged huge fees. On this occasion, Senator Palwasha Khan, head of the committee, said that the law is very clear that PMDC can control the fees, private medical colleges are robbing children.She questioned how the annual fee of private medical colleges reached 3 million per year. Someone please answer why these additional fees up to Rs 900,000 have not been refunded.
