Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his determination towards Pakistan's development and progress during a meeting with the Federal Cabinet in Islamabad. He criticized the anarchists for causing the decline of Pakistan Stock Exchange and highlighted the importance of peace for the country's economic stability. He also appreciated the cooperation of the military and intelligence agencies in maintaining law and order.

He said the Stock Exchange again crossed the mark of 99,000 as soon as peace restored in Islamabad today.The Prime Minister said PTI laid the foundation of anarchical protests in 2014 and has been pursuing this tendency and approach since then. He said we have to end this gang mindset. He said we could have avoided this day had the courts punished the culprits involved in May 9 incidents in a speedy manner.
