Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting to review the law and order situation in Pakistan. The meeting was attended by Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, civil officials, and cabinet members. PM Shehbaz ordered the registration of FIRs against PTI miscreants and demanded severe punishment for them. He highlighted the four attacks on the Federation in the past nine months and criticized the protest that took place during a meeting with the President of Belarus.

The PM said during nine months, the Federation was attacked four times by the miscreants. He said unholy tradition of targeting Federal Capital was introduced in 2014 and the spectacle that was staged in front of the world has no precedent. On the occasion, PM Shehbaz was briefed about the security situation especially recent attack on Islamabad by miscreants.
Prime Minister also gave approval for the establishment of anti-rights unit in Islamabad. He also directed concerned department to further strengthen the Prosecutor General's Office.
