Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto brought back 90,000 war prisoners: Bilawal
RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reminded on Friday that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had brought back 90,000 war prisoners.
Bilawal Bhutto also mentioned that Bhutto made the country a nuclear power and the people had been given rule but unfortunately former military ruler General Zia did not accept the rule of people. Bilawal said that his grandfather Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave rights to labourers when he was prime minister and his mother Benazir had fought two dictators during her lifetime.
The PPP chairman lashed out at the government, saying that it was an enemy to the poor people of Pakistan. He criticised those in corridors of power for removing the BISP’s women beneficiaries. “This is not the independence that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah gave us,” he said. “We will build the Pakistan that Benazir envisage for you.”
