As per reports, the Punjab Education Minister has confirmed that the summer break will commence from June 7, 2024, and extend until August 19, 2024. This prolonged closure, spanning over two months, aims to safeguard students from the oppressive heat. With temperatures already reaching 40 degrees Celsius in Lahore and expected to rise further in the coming days, there are concerns about heat-related health risks such as heatstroke and dehydration. To mitigate these risks and ensure the safety of students, the administration has opted to close schools across the province for an extended period during the summer months.Like other cities, all public and private schools will observe summer vacations 2024 from June 7 to August 19.
