The constitutional court of the Supreme Court on Tuesday disposed of the petition, seeking a ruling by the court against an extension in the army chief’s term in office due to non-perusal of the case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The seven-member bench, headed by Justice Aminnuddin Khan, also upheld the objections raised by the Registrar's Office to the plea.
