Despite their long relationship, the two never tied the knot, and eventually, they went their separate ways. Sangeeta later married cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in 1996, but they divorced in 2019.
Sangeeta has always maintained a cordial relationship with Salman and continues to attend his events.
