British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly telephones caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, condemns terrorist attacks in Hangu, Mastung
Sep 30, 2023British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly telephoned caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar and condemned the acts of terrorism in Hangu and Mastung on Friday.
The caretaker prime minister thanked the British government for its solidarity over the terrorist attacks, and said that elements involved in the terrorist incidents would be brought to book.Several other countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkiye, Iran, Iraq, and France, also strongly condemned and denounced the terrorist attacks in Mastung, Balochistan, and Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and expressing solidarity with Pakistan and its people.
Iranian President Syed Ebrahim Raisi condemned the terrorism in Balochistan, emphasizing that such acts aim to create division among Muslims. He expressed sympathy with Pakistan and conveyed Iran's readiness to cooperate in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
