Transporters announces to resume public transport from today in Punjab
LAHORE – The transporters has announced to resume the public transport in Punjab on Wednesday after successful negotiations with the provincial government.
On Tuesday, the deadlock between the Punjab government and one group of transporters continues as the transport service of AC buses remains halted while non-AC buses have resumed operation. However, bus stations in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and other cities of the province remained empty while the passengers as well as the transporters complained over the ongoing situation.
The notification contains directives for owners of buses and minibuses, terminals, passengers, drivers and conductors.
