Turkish president phones PM Imran Khan, expresses grief over loss of human lives in plane tragedy
ISLAMABAD – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan phoned Prime Minister Imran Khan to express grief over the loss of precious human lives in the plane crash tragedy.
The prime minister, while discussing the long-term economic repercussions of COVID-19, said that a comprehensive coordinated plan of action on debt relief and restructuring was needed to stave off socio-economic turbulence. He also briefed President Erdogan on worsening human rights situation in Occupied Kashmir, accentuated by double lockdown and intensified military crackdown.
