Two police personnel were injured when an explosive material went off near the checkpost in-charge’s vehicle in the mountainous area of district Khyber on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.Police said the condition of both cops was stable.
Soon after the incident, a heavy police contingent reached the site of the incident and launched a search operation.A few hours earlier on Monday, 24News reported that two people were injured after some persons hurled a hand grenade at a petrol pump in Barra, district Khyber.Police said that several vehicles were also damaged in the incident, while the area had been cordoned off in order to search for the assailants.
