Earlier, Australia had won the toss and put Namibia in to bat first.
NORTH SOUND – Namibia set an easy 73 runs target for Australia in the 24th match of the T20 World Cup at the Sir Vivivan Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua on Wednesday.
Namibia were all out for 72 runs in 17 overs. Australia are coming off a huge win against arch-rivals England by 36 runs in Barbados. The Aussies became the first team to post a total of 200 or more in the ongoing edition of the marquee event. They amassed 201/7 before restricting the Three Lions to 165/6. In their opening match, Australia defeated Oman by 39 runs after posting 164/5 in their 20 overs. A win on Wednesday will take the Men in Yellow to the Super Eight stage with a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Namibia won their opening match against Oman in the Super Over after failing to reach a paltry target of 110 on a tough track. However, they couldn't build on this win, having suffered a defeat in their next game versus Scotland. The European nation chased down a 156-run target with five wickets and nine balls to spare.
