In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the US Department of State, it is said that sanctions have been imposed on four Pakistani entities under the executive order in view of Pakistan’s development of long-range missiles and the threat of its proliferation.
According to the statement, the decision was implemented to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery. The four Pakistani companies that the US has imposed sanctions on include National Development Complex , Akhtar and Sons Private Limited, Philates International and Rockside Enterprise.
