Won’t participate in fourth round of talks with govt: PTI

ISLAMABAD Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced that it will not participate in the fourth round of talks with the government.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, PTI’s negotiating committee member Omar Ayub said that the PTI negotiating committee has decided not to participate in the fourth round of talks. He said that the establishment of a judicial commission is necessary before the fourth round of talks, adding that the fourth round of talks will not be held until the establishment of the judicial commission.

“The PTI founder has clear instructions that if the government does not form a judicial commission, there is no point in the talks. So we will not sit in the fourth round of talks with the government,” he declared. On the other hand, Irfan Siddiqui, a member of the government’s negotiating committee, said that forming or not forming the judicial commission has not been decided yet.It should be noted here that there have been three rounds of negotiations between the government and the PTI.
