Ridley Scott reveals that Gladiator II, which releases this November, opens with 'probably the biggest action sequence' he's ever done.
“We begin the film with probably the biggest action sequence I’ve ever done,” Scott said. “Probably bigger than anything in Napoleon.”
Addressing how Gladiator II will utilize different kinds of technology that weren’t available when the original Gladiator, released in 2000, came out, Scott said, “Computerisation and AI — you have to embrace it. I can have a computer read every molecule and wrinkle on a rhino and then cut it on a thick piece of plastic, absolutely as a rhino’s body, which is then tailored to a skeleton shape.
