Keanu Reeves dipastikan akan terlibat dalam film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 untuk mengisi suara karakter Shadow.
pada Senin , pihak juru bicara Paramount Pictures selaku studio yang menangani Sonic the Hedgehog 3, enggan memberikan komentar atas keterlibatan Reeves.Reeves dikabarkan akan menyumbang suara untuk karakter Shadow. Karakter digambarkan sebagai landak antropomorfik yang memiliki bulu berwarna hitam, berbeda dari Sonic yang berbulu biru.
Salah satunya adalah Ben Schwartz yang menjadi pengisi suara Sonic. Begitu pula dengan aktor Jim Carrey yang berperan sebagai Dr. Robotnik, villain utama film tersebut. Ada pula James Marsden sebagai Tom Wachowski, Tika Sumpter sebagai Maddie Wachowski, Lee Majdoub sebagai Agent Stone, hingga Tom Butler sebagai Commander Walters.
