Since a few weeks ago, Ijah has been diligently surfing social media looking for interesting contests. This year, social media has become a reference for many seventeen competitions.

Some competitions are long-standing competitions, such as marble racing, sack racing, putting nails into bottles, or eating crackers. Other competitions fall into new categories. Ijah and Wati , guardians of students in 6th grade at Palmerah 22 Pagi Elementary School, were seen walking with concentration while balancing two plastic mineral water glasses attached to their foreheads. Accompanied by the sound of dangdut music and cheers from the audience, they tried to maintain balance so that the glasses filled with water would not fall as they walked.
Eight teams consisting of five to eight people representing each RT competed in relay races to move sarongs, blow up balloons , and the teamwork competition to remove socks under a bucket filled with water. The participants, a mix of teenagers to senior citizens, men and women, with various body shapes, added to the excitement of the sarong relay competition.
The Head of the Committee for the Indonesian Independence Day Celebration, BPM Rizky Mahendra, explained that the committee intentionally updated the types of competitions."I surveyed the residents and they wanted to have a new type of competition. The competition team searched for new types of competitions so that the residents wouldn't get bored," said Rizky, who is also the Head of RT 005 BPM.
Along with the increase, more and more people are also utilizing social media services, either for entertainment or just to fill their spare time. It's no wonder that the exchange of information also happens very quickly.
