UN recognises Punjab govt’s digital governance modelA fresh development has reportedly emerged in the ongoing controversy surrounding Don 3, with new claims suggesting that Bollywood star Ranveer Singh attempted to rebuild his professional relationship with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar.
According to reports circulating in Indian media, Ranveer allegedly reached out to Farhan and expressed interest in working together again. The actor is said to have proposed collaborating on a new film that could be mutually agreed upon by both sides. Reports say that Ranveer showed interest in reuniting with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, with whom he previously worked on the critically acclaimed film Gully Boy.
Neither Ranveer Singh or Farhan Akhtar, nor anyone associated with the production, officially confirmed that such conversations took place. The latest claims also suggested that the actor had even offered a substantial reduction in his fee for potential future collaborations. Several media outlets also reported that Excel Entertainment sought financial compensation following the actor's withdrawal from the project Don 3.
The matter gained further attention when the Federation of Western India Cine Employees reportedly issued a non-cooperation directive against the actor. Throughout the controversy, Ranveer Singh has largely remained silent. His team previously stated that the actor believes professional disagreements should be handled privately and respectfully.
