Federal Minister for Communications and President IPP Abdul Aleem Khan has paid rich tribute to P akistan ’s armed forces on the completion of one year of the Marka-e-Haq, describing May 10 as a landmark day in P akistan ’s military history.

In his statement, he praised Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the military leadership, saying the entire nation stands united behind the armed forces in defence of the homeland. He also acknowledged the services of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf. Abdul Aleem Khan said the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces, particularly the Pakistan Air Force, has been recognized globally.

He remarked that “Shaheens entered the enemy’s territory,” adding that the world acknowledges the operational success and courage shown during the conflict period. He said the Pakistan Air Force, Army, and Navy collectively upheld national honour during the Battle of Haq. The federal minister said that “air dominance belongs only to those who wear the green crescent on their chest,” crediting the Pakistan Air Force for its operational success.

He claimed that PAF pilots shot down multiple enemy aircraft, including a Rafale jet, during the conflict, calling it a moment that reduced “enemy pride to dust. ”Referring to the broader context of the “Mark-e-Haq” Abdul Aleem Khan said both last year’s operation and this year’s anniversary reflect Pakistan’s strategic resilience and defence preparedness. He said these events have become symbolic of national unity, sacrifice, and military professionalism.

The minister accused India of promoting a false narrative following incidents such as Pahalgam, describing it as a “false flag operation” that has been rejected globally. He said India’s claims and narrative have “collapsed internationally,” while Pakistan continues to demand a transparent and impartial investigation. Abdul Aleem Khan also accused India’s leadership of “war-driven thinking,” saying it has contributed to destabilizing regional peace.

He stated that, according to Pakistan’s position, India faced international pressure during recent escalations, which forced it to consider external mediation. This echoes broader statements from Pakistan’s civil and military leadership highlighting diplomatic gains, including improved global engagement and increased confidence in Pakistan’s strategic role. Abdul Aleem Khan paid tribute to the martyrs and praised the courage of the ghazis, saying their sacrifices remain the foundation of national security.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend the country against any internal or external threat, consistent with earlier military statements from GHQ regarding full operational readiness in a multi-domain warfare environment.
