Pakistan resolves to stand with Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters in these hard times
ISLAMABAD – On the instructions of the Prime Minister the National Disaster Management Authority on Sunday, in collaboration with Al-Khidmat foundation, dispatched the 14th aid shipment to Gaza and Lebanon from Karachi.
The relief consignment carried 17 tons of supplies, including tents, food tins, dry milk, clothes and hygiene kits. The send-off ceremony was held at Jinnah International Airport Karachi, which was attended by Qaisar Shah the Federal Minister for Maritimes Affairs and the representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs NDMA, and Al-Khidmat Foundation.
The attendees emphasised the need of aid for war torn regions of Gaza and Lebanon and affirmed the Pakistan's resolve to stand with Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters in these hard times. Pakistan has sent 13 shipments of aid to Gaza and Lebanon so far, with this consignment Pakistan has sent the total 1398 tons of aid volume.
