GWADAR: Security forces successfully thwarted an attempted assault on the Gwadar Port Authority Complex, eliminating all eight terrorists affiliated with the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army , as stated by security sources.
A fierce confrontation ensued between the security forces and the terrorists, resulting in the demise of all eight BLA assailants. Situated at the heart of the city, the GPA Complex houses various offices affiliated with the Gwadar Port Authority, law enforcement agencies, and residential quarters.The GPA undertakes the development of commercial infrastructure such as bank branches, stevedores, agency offices, cargo storage sheds, and marine repair workshops across 69 acres of land, aiming to facilitate investors and generate revenue.
