The number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan continued to register a steady rise as these crossed 4,600 mark with the addition of 108 cases so far on Friday.
The death toll has climbed to 68 with 22 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 22 in Sindh, 18 in Punjab, three in Gilgit Baltistan, two in Balochistan and one in Islamabad.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre figures, total confirmed positive cases were reported at 4,702 with Punjab’s tally at 2,288, Sindh at 1,220, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 620, Balochistan 219, Gilgit Baltistan 215, Islamabad Capital Territory 107 and Azad Kashmir 33. Fifty-four percent of these cases came from other countries while 46 percent were local transmissions.
The number of total recovered cases stands at 737 including Friday's 108 with 78 in Sindh, 13 in Balochistan and 15 in Gilgit Baltistan.
