IG Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, in his tribute, reaffirmed the unwavering resolve of the police force to protect and serve the citizens. He emphasized that every officer is committed to the values of martyrdom, standing united against any threat to the community. Rizvi recounted that during a violent protest by a political party the previous day, Shaheed Constable Abdul Hameed Shah was abducted by miscreants, tortured, and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, attaining martyrdom.Shaheed Constable Hameed had been assigned law and order duty at 26 No Chungi and was a member of the Investigation Wing of Islamabad Police. Having joined the force in 1988, he was just three months away from retirement.
