The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on Thursday approved with a majority vote appointment of 12 additional judges to the Sindh High Court (SHC). According to a notification issued by the Judicial Commission, here the names of the nominees for the posts of additional judges: Ms. Tasneem Sultana, DSJ Mr. Khalid Hussain Shahani, DSJ Mr.
The Judicial Commission of Pakistan on Thursday approved with a majority vote appointment of 12 additional judges to the Sindh High Court .
The commission considered 46 candidates vying for the 12 vacant posts. The list included four female candidates — two lawyers and two district and sessions judges . DSJ Tasneem Sultana was number 2 on the seniority list of SHC’s subordinate judiciary. She joined the judicial service on April 28, 1994 and her age of superannuation is May 14, 2026. She was promoted to the post of DSJ on Feb 9, 2012 and was awaiting posting.
