All forms of political gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, demonstrations will be prohibited.
LAHORE - The Punjab government has enforced Section 144 in Lahore for six days, with the provincial Home Department issuing a notification for its implementation.
The notification stated that Section 144 has been imposed to maintain law and order and to protect human lives and property, as any public gathering could be a soft target for terrorists due to security threats.
