PML-N criticizes PTI Indian minister invite for its protest, accusing the opposition party of undermining national interests with...
Senior PML-N leader Irfan Siddiqui said on Saturday that while the announcement made by Indian Minister for External Affairs Jaishankar to attend the SCO summit in Islamabad was a positive development, at the same time, the invitation extended by the PTI to him to address the party’s sit-in has laid bare its designs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement, he said it would be better if the party leaders took the Indian minister on a tour to what he called over 200 military installations and the memorials of Pakistan Army martyrs which they had pillaged and set on fire on May 9. Earlier, Adviser to the KP CM on Information Barrister Saif, in an interview to a TV channel, had reportedly invited Jaishanker to address the PTI’s sit-in in Islamabad. “If India claims to be the champion of democracy, then its minister should participate in our protest demonstration and address it.”
Saif was of the view that his visit would strengthen Pakistan and make it stand on its own feet. “And if Pakistan becomes stronger, its ties with its neighbourly country will improve,” he opined.Fans go gaga over Sajal Aly and Iqra Aziz chemistry in latest photoshootJaveria Saud gets angry in live show for not given credit for 'Ishq Murshid' OST
