ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf -led opposition alliance announced a nationwide protest on Friday demanding the release of ‘innocent’ prisoners, including party chairman Imran Khan.
He stated that the protests aim to address three key demands: ending sky-rocketing inflation, establishing peace, and releasing the PTI founder and all other political prisoners detained on ‘fabricated’ charges. “The incumbent federal government enjoys a fake mandate,” Qaiser added.
