The Redmi Note 14 series was launched in China last week, and new reports suggest significant upgrades for the global version
of the Note 14 Pro+.
While all models in the lineup feature 50MP main cameras in China, the global version of the Note 14 Pro+ is expected to come with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor, according to the source. This change was discovered in the code of Xiaomi’s HyperOS software. Alongside this upgrade, the global version will replace the 50MP JN1 telephoto sensor found in the Chinese variant with a 2MP OV02B10 macro camera, marking a notable downgrade. However, the Indian version will retain the same camera setup as the Chinese model.
The rest of the specifications for the global Note 14 Pro+ will remain unchanged, including the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, 6.67-inch 1080p 120Hz curved OLED display, IP68 water resistance, and Sony IMX355 8MP ultrawide camera. Similarly, the regular Note 14 Pro will receive the same camera upgrade globally while maintaining other specifications from the Chinese version.
