ISLAMABAD: Security forces are continuing their operation against drug trafficking across the country, Since September 2023, 1082.56 metric ton drugs have been seized and 2694 drug peddlers arrested
In addition to the significant drug seizures, over 2,350 drug dealers have been arrested, demonstrating the effectiveness of the country’s crackdown on drug-related crimes. The government’s efforts aim to ensure the country is fully rid of drugs and to protect the youth from the dangers of narcotics.
Just last week, security forces apprehended 12 drug dealers and confiscated 326.800 kilograms of narcotics in operations conducted nationwide. Authorities have made it clear that the operations are part of a larger, sustained effort to eliminate the illegal drug trade, sending a strong message to drug traffickers.
