Sindh government spokesperson Senator Murtaza Wahab on Thursday questioned why Prime Minister Imran Khan’s name wasn’t mentioned in theDescribing the decision to include Sindh government in the probe as motivated by ills intentions, the senator said remarked perhaps those too received subsidy on whose planes the prime minister used to travel. We can also opt for legal action over this report, Murtaza warned.
Addressing a press conference, Murtaza said the report also stated that the federal government did nothing to stop market manipulation aimed at increasing the sugar price. The spokesperson said the report also mentioned that the provincial sugar advisory boards repeatedly raised the alarm over the price increase but the Centre did not pay any attention.
